Episode 11: Blanca Jones Reiki Positive NRG

The featured guest is Blanca Jones, owner of Positive NRG and a certified Reiki master and wellness coach based in Turlock. Blanca's path to Reiki began in 2017 at what she describes as rock bottom — a pattern of abusive relationships she couldn't break free from — until a best friend introduced her to something she initially dismissed as "woo-woo." What followed transformed her life from the inside out, and she's been helping others do the same ever since.
Blanca walks through the five pillars she discovered through Reiki that reshaped her life: learning to love yourself, knowing your worth, stopping the victim mindset, communicating from the heart, and forgiving your past — including people who were never sorry and an apology that never came. She shares her story with remarkable openness, making clear that the point isn't the pain but the possibility on the other side of it.
On what Reiki actually is, Blanca explains it as a practice that identifies the root cause of stress, heals the areas of the body that need healing on an energetic and spiritual level, and brings to the surface the things a person needs to address in the physical world. She describes it as working through the body's life force energy — chakras and meridians — rebalancing what's out of alignment. She also notes that scientific research does support measurable cellular-level changes, though she acknowledges the subject still carries skepticism for many people.
Nicole shares her own firsthand experience — falling asleep during her session, having vivid dreams that connected her with her late father, and waking up with a clarity and mental quietness she had been searching for. Jeanette, a self-described aspirin-free household and longtime Reiki-curious, announces she plans to book a session herself.
Blanca also teaches Reiki, offering certification classes for those who want to become practitioners themselves — making her a resource not just for clients but for yoga instructors, holistic health practitioners, or anyone wanting to add Reiki to their own toolkit.
